RREF-Funded Programs

RREF funds critical programs which make Rancho Romero a special place to learn. The Education Fund will Spend Approximately $989 per student in the 2018 - 2019 school year and funds the following programs:
  • Classroom Aides - improve the teacher to student ratio and add consistency to our school program
  • Technology Director, Programs and Equipment - providing high quality technology programs and equipment
  • Reading Specialists - aiming to bring all students up to standard allowing teachers to focus their attention on the class at large
  • Art Instructor- providing enrichment to students in the areas of fine art, art history, cultural arts and multidimensional art
  • Music Instructor - including supplies
  • Library Media Coordinator - expanding the district-funded library resource, allowing lunch library access for students as well as the coordination of a variety of programs
  • Rainbow Program - helps students develop self-esteem, self-confidence, stronger social skills, and a positive attitude toward school using Steps to Respect and Second Step, our adopted Character Education program
  • Office Staff and Equipment
  • Specialty class supplies and technology subscriptions
  • Soul Shoppe

RREF is a registered non-profit organization 501(c)(3).  Our Taxpayer ID Number is 91-1796297.  100% of funds donated to RREF are used for educational and enrichment programs, equipment, and materials to improve the quality of learning at Rancho Romero Elementary School.

2018 Calendar of Meetings to be decided at the first meeting of the year.

Members of RREF (any Rancho parent/guardian who has contributed any financial amount to the Fund) are welcome to attend.


October 15-26, 2018 - APEX Fun Run 
We’re looking forward to bringing the APEX Fun Run back for a second year. Our first year was a huge success and we think we can keep the momentum going in year 2. Contact our Fun Run co-chairs, Rachel RoLisa Weinstein or Alyse Townsend, if you are interested in getting involved.
