RREF Updates

The Online Auction is OPEN!!

Don’t miss this opportunity, peruse the online auction now to shop for gifts, services, tickets, restaurants and more! There are many, many items you are likely to purchase outside the auction so why not support Rancho and buy them via our auction? Click HERE to browse and bid - and remember, 100% of the money collected goes directly back to Rancho. The online auction closes on February 8 at 10 p.m.
The annual auction gala helps fund programs at Rancho that the government and/or school district does not, including: classroom paras, reading specialists, technology specialist and materials, additional librarian hours, art and music teachers and supplies, as well as staff professional development and more. These extra programs are what make Rancho Romero stand out as an exceptional school.

Thank you in advance for your support!

Auction Update

Get Ready for Rancho’s fundraising event of the year!

February 10th

Every year the Rancho Romero Auction and Dinner is a highlight for parents and teachers alike. Not only is it fun, it is vital to meeting Rancho Romero Education Fund’s annual fundraising goal. The event is responsible for raising approximately 30% of RREF’s current budget -- money that pays for important programs for our kids like classroom paras, reading specialists, technology specialist and materials, a librarian, art and music teachers and supplies, as well as staff professional development and more

Mark your calendars for these important dates:

In addition to purchasing your tickets on December 18th there are several ways to support the auction:

Please Donate Wine!  We are looking for premium wine ($35+ retail value per bottle) for our Wine Raffle and Premium Wine Bar. Last year’s auction wine sales generated nearly $10,000 for RREF! Maybe you have a wine collection or a connection to a winery? Possibly you are going grocery shopping and feel like cruising down the wine aisle? No matter the reason, contact Lesley Vella, Annie Hahn or Jodi Steel or cruise by the wine drop on December 6th if you’d like to make a difference and donate a bottle (or two!). Red, white, champagne… the choice is yours!

Wine Drop for Coffee Swap on Wednesday, December 6th: Simply swing by the Peterson’s home at 106 Muir Lane on Wednesday, December 6th to drop off your wine donation and pick up a cup of hot coffee. We will be collecting wine from 7:45 – 9:15am and again from 1:00 – 2:30pm.

Can’t make it… let us know and we will come and pick up your donation! Are you a member of a wine club? Ask if they’ll make a donation as well!

Questions? Contact Lesley Vella, Annie Hahn, or Jodi Steel

Cash Donations! Would you consider making a Cash Donation or becoming a Sponsor? Would your student's grandparent, aunt, or cousin be willing to make a contribution to support education at Rancho? Get that end of year tax write off while supporting your our school - Win, Win!  Financial donations from this fund are often used to help round-out our amazing live auction packages. Host a Party!  Hosted parties or events are always BIG sellers in the auction. You will soon be able to sign up for several fun events such as a Kentucky Derby Party and the Fifth Grade Mom’s Luncheon. Would you consider hosting a party, dinner or event at your home?  Join with a few friends/families and do it together to make it easier. Perhaps a March Madness Party, Dad’s Night Out, a Family Backyard Campout, Denim and Diamonds Party… the options are endless and no party is too small. We welcome your creativity! Please contact Jennifer Joaquin Nicholson  with questions or ideas.

Donate an auction item! Can you help the Donations team by donating an auction item? Vacation home, hotel points, air miles, restaurants, tickets to sporting events, spa treatments… help us build a stellar online and live auction! Contact Paula Buenavista for information. Thank you!

Join us at the Next Auction Meeting! We are always in need of more volunteers to help. Stop by the next auction meeting on Wednesday, November 15th at 8:30 am in the MUR. We can find you a role that fits your schedule!

Many thanks for helping make our night in the Hamptons a great success!!
