Happy Friday Parents,

Look for Heritage Homework Today! Our Next History/Social Studies Unit is about Long Ago and Today. In this Unit we Look at how Times have Changed, but we also Look at our own Families and Where we came from. Students Brought Home Heritage Homework Packets Today. I Send it over the Break because Many Families will See or Talk to Extended Family and this Assignment is Great Conversation around the Dinner Table. Homework for the Next Several Weeks will encompass Assignments that Help Students Learn about Themselves and their Classmates (other Homework will be lighter to make more time for this). Please Read the Heritage Homework Packet, all Supplies are Included. The Best Part is this Lesson Ends with a Potluck with all Students and Families coming Together to Share a Delicious Meal and Entertainment on Friday, December 15 at 11:30. Please Mark your Calendars.

Regular Homework Packet this Week Consist of: *It Will Come Home on Monday, November 27th. We will have Reading 15-20 Minutes Monday through Thursday, Origin of Name, and 5 Math Lessons: Application/Word Problems, 23, 25, 26 and 27.

This Past Week: We Started Adding 3 Digit Numbers, with regrouping. In Writing we are Editing and Revising our Non-Fiction All About Books, and some of us our Starting Book #2. We Shared All that we Learned from our Non-Fiction Books with Presentations.

This Coming Week: Students will Finish the Last Half of Math Unit 4, with Adding and Subtracting 3 Digit Numbers. In Our Writing Unit on All About-Informational Topics we will Celebrate with Published Non-Fiction Books that will Go into Our Classroom Library for All to Enjoy. We will Start Learning about the Way Life use to be and how it is Today in Social Studies.
