Bio- Peggy Cox
I grew up in Walnut Creek and currently live here with my husband and our two sons. I received my BA in Human Development and minored in Speech and Hearing Sciences at Washington State University. Shortly after graduating, I took a summer internship in Japan where I taught English to Japanese kindergarteners. After I got home, I went back to school to get my CA teaching credential at Chapman University. My first three years of teaching were spent in Pittsburg, CA where I taught first grade. I spent the last nine years at Coyote Creek Elementary in San Ramon teaching second grade.
In my spare time, I love being with my family and friends. I also enjoy running, traveling, skiing, reading, and swimming.
I am so excited about my recent move to Rancho Romero. This is a dynamic staff that I am thrilled to be a part of. I am passionate about educating children and strive to have a classroom that is a safe and successful environment.
